In the design of LSM, the key aspect Debra Lehman-Smith wanted to incorporate was a natural looking aesthetic that didn’t feel forced. She wanted to create a design that was modern and simplistic. Using a solid hardwood frame that was finished with brushed stainless, the end result was a collaboration of design, functionality, and natural beauty.

Debra Lehman-Smith studied Interior Architecture at the University of Kentucky. Teaming up with James B. McLeish in 1998, Lehman-Smith + McLeish was formed. Ms. Lehman-Smith is known within the business and design communities for her ability to merge her clients' objectives and aesthetic preferences. Her clients include corporations such as Gannett/USA Today, General Dynamics and Goldman Sachs, and international law firms.
