“When I examined the many ways tables are used, it was clear to me that we needed to branch out, to think differently, to create unique shapes and designs that really address today’s needs. As more and more spaces are becoming fluent and used for multiple activities, we needed to develop tables and bases that could beautifully meet those needs.”


Don Woods graduated in 1996 from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design. He has been with Kimball International since 1996 as an integral contributor to our Product Design and Development team. Don focuses on bringing intuitively refined designs to the portfolio and appreciates the utilization of mixed materials, joinery, and aesthetics within his designs.
