The education transformations we are witnessing are in large part the result of a change in focus. Students have been placed at the center of the learning process and are no longer considered consumers, but producers of information. Lecture as the primary delivery method is discouraged. Collaboration, trial-and-error and student choice in learning styles are preferred.
