“Acquaint was designed to mirror the extreme comfort of lounge seating, but with the unique appeal of size for all applications. In addition to comfort, the focus was also on its refined wood details and highlighting its structural beauty.”


Derek Schweikarth graduated from Purdue University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design. He has been with Kimball International since graduation. Focusing on relevant design influences, Derek creates thought provoking product solutions that are design driven with a strategic focus on manufacturability, providing our customers with the quality of craftmanship and functionality they expect.
