Kimball International, in partnership with Ultrafabrics, is proud to share the success of a series of showroom and market events that directly benefited the Soles4Souls organization. The event series, titled “Color Unraveled”, dove into the significant role of color in healthcare environments and its impact on healing through a thought-provoking panel discussion and an interactive weaving workshop. The series aimed to bring together industry experts, design professionals, and customers for an immersive and educational experience.

Beyond the memorable experience for guests, the Color Unraveled event series served a greater purpose for the community through Kimball International's partnership with Soles4Souls. Soles4Souls is a remarkable non-profit organization dedicated to providing footwear to individuals in need around the world, creating educational and economic opportunities for those that receive them. As part of their 2024 charitable contributions, Kimball International began a donation campaign on April 1st with a goal of 1,000 pairs of shoes collected by October through both individual member contributions and larger event collections.

The initiative aligned perfectly with Ultrafabrics’ UF Cares pillar of Sustainability and became an integral part of the Color Unraveled event series. As part of the event, attendees were encouraged to bring shoe donations to contribute to the campaign. The generosity of participants in Dallas, Chicago, and Atlanta, as well as the efforts of Ultrafabrics employees in New York City, resulted in over 150 donated shoes.


With the campaign’s end on October 1st, Kimball International announced that its teams and business partners around the country went above and beyond, shattering the initial collection goal by donating 4,292 pairs of shoes! Events such as the Color Unraveled series were a significant factor in collection efforts. The success of these events was made possible through the unwavering support of Ultrafabrics, who played a pivotal role in creating an engaging and impactful experience for attendees.
