“I wanted to design a product that would flow into the user’s natural behavior without altering it. The design was inspired by the principle that form follows function. Kozmic creates a site for individuals to come together for impromptu meetings or to socialize. It’s also a relaxed space for individual focus time or a location to touchdown for a quick charge. Kozmic’s flexibility in allowing the user to sit, lean, stand, or perch helps enhance their experience.”
Don Woods graduated in 1996 from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design. He has been with Kimball International since 1996 as an integral contributor to our Product Design and Development team. Don focuses on bringing intuitively refined designs to the portfolio and appreciates the utilization of mixed materials, joinery, and aesthetics within his designs.
